Wayne Tower
Wayne is a seasoned financial services executive with over 20 years' experience across commercial banking and insurance premium funding, recognised for driving growth, leading transformation, and building high-performing teams.
He commenced his career at NAB before joining Macquarie Bank in 2005, where he held a series of senior leadership roles across business development and relationship management. He led the commercial real estate segment and went on to establish and scale the Healthcare segment, earning promotion to Division Director in 2016.
Wayne joined Macquarie Premium Funding in the same year, as General Manager – Sales, leading a 30-strong trans-Tasman team and contributing as a key member of the Executive Team. He played a pivotal role in the evolution of the business, including leading the transition to IQumulate Premium Funding in 2019.
As Chief Executive Officer, Wayne leads the organisation's strategic direction and performance – fostering a high-performance culture, aligning teams to clear outcomes, and delivering sustainable business success.
Norman Uranie
Norman brings deep financial expertise developed across the mobility and premium funding sectors. He spent eight years with Europcar Mobility Group (ANZ), building a strong foundation across multiple finance roles and strengthening his technical and commercial capabilities.
He joined Macquarie Premium Funding in 2015 as a Financial Accountant and was promoted to Financial Controller within eight months, reflecting his impact and leadership. Norman played a key role in the transition to IQumulate, including the implementation of securitisation and core banking and finance processes.
As Head of Finance, Norman leads the company's financial function, overseeing compliance, budgeting and forecasting, audit, and reporting, and is recognised for driving robust financial discipline, operational efficiency, and sustainable business performance.
Tricia Kopka
Tricia is a highly experienced operations leader with over 20 years' experience across banking and financial services. During a decade at Macquarie Bank, she led diverse, multi-location teams within Business Banking, building deep expertise in large-scale operational management.
She joined Macquarie Premium Funding in 2013 as Operations Manager ANZ, leading a 35 strong team across end to end operations. A key contributor to the transition to IQumulate, Tricia played an instrumental role in the 2019 rebrand and was subsequently appointed Operations Manager and Project Specialist.
As Head of Operations and Process Improvement and a member of the Leadership Team, Tricia leads loan origination and drives strategic transformation initiatives. She is recognised for successfully reimagining core processes, reducing workflow complexity and manual tasks, and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, scalability, and team productivity.
Stephen McMillan
Stephen commenced his career in financial services with GE Capital in 2008, progressing rapidly through a range of onshore and offshore finance roles.
He joined Pacific Premium Funding in 2012 as a Financial Planning & Analysis leader, where he played a pivotal role in the business's transformation—supporting its sale to Macquarie and its evolution into IQumulate Premium Funding. He now holds the position of Head of Treasury.
Stephen leads the treasury function, overseeing commercial analysis, business performance, and securitisation. Through his leadership, he drives strategic financial insight, enables informed decision-making, and delivers initiatives that support operational efficiency and long-term growth.
Graeme Gordon
Graeme Gordon is the Head of Sales for Australia and New Zealand at IQumulate Premium Funding. Joining the company in 2017 from Vero Insurance NZ, Graeme advanced through various roles to the position of NZ Manager in early 2020. The NZ business delivered significant growth under Graeme's direction, leading to further promotion to his current role.
Graeme now leads sales delivery across both countries, focused on building consistent and exceptional customer service, leveraging innovative tech solutions. Core to Graeme's focus is developing genuine partnerships with our brokers through regular engagement and building a foundation of trust through accountability.
Wai-Lum Tang
Head of Information Technology
As Head of Information Technology at IQumulate, Wai-Lum is responsible for leading the strategy and delivery of secure, scalable technology solutions that support broker efficiency and business growth.
A CIO50 Australia Award winner in 2025, Wai-Lum works closely across teams to drive digital innovation, strengthen security and governance, and ensure technology enables exceptional customer and broker experiences.
Brett Bastow
Brett studied at Curtin University in Perth where he acquired his Bachelor of Commerce double majoring in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and has over 10 years' experience as a HR professional working across multiple industries.
Prior to joining the Steadfast Group, Brett worked at Sonic Clinical Services (SCS), the primary healthcare division of top 50 ASX Sonic Healthcare. During his tenure at SCS, he was focused on delivering operational centric solutions across all aspects of Human Resources including WHS across it 3000 multisite workforce.
Brett joined IQumulate in 2019 from the Steadfast Group as the Head of Human Resources where he is responsible for the full gamut of HR in IQ's drive to be a great place, for great people to do great work.
Thierry Pascal
Thierry is an experienced credit and legal leader with a strong background in business and corporate banking, having held key analytical, credit risk, and relationship management roles with NAB and CBA.
He joined GE Capital in 2010 as a Senior Risk Analyst in premium funding, transitioning to Macquarie Premium Funding following its 2015 acquisition. There, he was promoted to Credit Risk Manager, leading the underwriting function and supporting disciplined credit growth.
Now Head of Credit & Legal at IQumulate, Thierry leads the credit underwriting team and oversees the in-house legal function. Leveraging dual qualifications in Accounting and Law, he drives strong risk governance, credit discipline, and commercially sound outcomes.
Cemal Akgul
Cemal is a senior leader in risk and collections, with extensive global experience across leading financial services organisations. As Head of Risk and Collections at IQumulate, he leads credit risk strategy and collections operations, driving strong governance, sustainable growth, and fair customer outcomes.
He partners closely with cross-functional teams to embed best practice, balancing disciplined risk management with service excellence. Cemal is recognised for strengthening broker relationships while safeguarding long-term business performance and fostering a resilient, customer-focused risk culture.
